Rooster Teeth, the anime and fandom-focused digital network owned by WarnerMedia, is getting into the children’s entertainment space alongside indie kids’ book publisher Albert Whitman.  Rooster Teeth and 100-year-old Albert Whitman (through its Albert Whitman Media development and production division) will work together to adapt a slate of children’s books into animated series, starting with Zapato Power and Wish Library — with an eye to global distribution on broadcast and digital platforms.  Zapato Power follows the adventures of an ordinary kid who receives superpowered purple sneakers, while Wish Library sees three third-graders discovering a mysterious librarian who offers to help solve their problems.
